Randburg Tennis Club

The Randburg Tennis Club is situated in the quiet and pleasant surroundings in Susman Avenue, Blairgowrie / Randburg in the north of Johannesburg / South Africa and offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where players can meet and enjoy tennis.
Affiliated to the Gauteng Tennis Association and with around 75 adult and junior members, the club participates in league events year round.

Club Facilities

The club has a total of 6 courts. 5 of these courts are equipped with floodlights for playing at night. A comfortable clubhouse with a well stocked bar is available for socializing.

Court Hire

You can rent a court without being a member of the club. In order to maintain our club and facilities there is a fee for renting a court. Vouchers have to be purchased in advance and are available by the coaches during the week and by a committee member on a Saturday afternoon: Current court rental fees

Social Tennis

Scheduled for the following days: Tuesday from 8:00 and Saturday from 14:00

Visitors: Please note that Social Tennis is being played as mixed doubles with all present players. We don't want to scare off visitors but you would need a certain standard for social tennis, no beginners please, come and visit the club on a Saturday afternoon around 14:00. In order to maintain our club and facilities we ask that you pay a visitors levy at the bar upon arrival: Current visitor fees

Directions

Travelling south on Bram Fischer: Turn left at the robot into Hunter (opposite Canterbury Crossing Shopping Centre), which becomes Susman after approximately 100 meters, the club is on the right hand side after another 200 meters (next to I.R. Griffith Primary school).

Travelling north on Bram Fischer: Turn right at the robot into Hunter (opposite Canterbury Crossing Shopping Centre), which becomes Susman after approximately 100 meters, the club is on the right hand side after another 200 meters (next to I.R. Griffith Primary school).

Travelling south on Jan Smuts: Turn right at the robot into Gordon then right again into Susman, the club is on the left hand side (next to I.R. Griffith Primary school).

Membership fees, 2012 year (1 Nov 2011 to 31 Oct 2012)

Current membership fees and Registrationform (print form, complete it and give it to one of the committee members). Entrance fees are payable on joining as a new member of the club. Membership fees are payable at the beginning of each year or on joining.
